Give & Go: All Day
Give & Go:
Sunday, May 11th, 2025
All Day
Give and Go is an initiative hosted by Community Outreach that diverts waste from landfills by providing students moving out with an easy and accessible way to donate the items they no longer need rather than throwing them out.
After a brief hiatus due to COVID, the program was revamped in 2024 and diverted more than 8,000lbs of items from the incineration and into the populations our 8 community partners served.
Give & Go is back for 2025 and we’re aiming to double our impact with donations collected from May 8th-10th & 12th!
Join us in promoting a more sustainable UConn by volunteering! Donate your unneeded items at a donation tent near you or the Ratcliffe Hicks Arena. Click here to learn more and fill out the form to sign up to volunteer! Volunteers will assist with donation collection, sorting, and related tasks!
