How can students contact you?

Students can contact me by completing this form. Feel free to ask me any questions about my experiences as a transfer student at UConn!

Tell us about yourself.

I love giraffes. I’m tall so naturally they are a good fit and I’ve been collecting figurines, stuffed animals, anything that looks like a giraffe or has giraffe print since I was in sixth grade. I also love to eat food as well as go to the gym so I’m excited for the new rec center to open this fall!

What is your favorite spot on campus?

Room 307 in the Student Union, the Student Activities Lounge. It’s a nice place to do work or to see other students involved around campus.

What do you love most about being a UConn student?

The opportunities presented to me. There is a club or organization for anyone. Personally, I love Community Outreach which has a variety of programs for variations of time commitment to be involved on campus or in the surrounding community.

What is your best advice for a UConn transfer student?

Get involved! I met most of the people I know through Jumpstart or from attending activities put on by the Transfer Connections program. It is difficult starting at a new place but pushing through and putting yourself out there to try new things will pay off.
